Whether you’re here for a quick weekend getaway or an extended stretch of rest and relaxation, we are here to make sure you return home that best version of yourself. So stroll through town, pop into quirky shops, mingle with colorful locals and, when a day of exploring leaves your feet tired, gather in our communal areas for a shared experience that mirrors Vashon’s sense of community or retreat to your private lodge and cozy up by the fire with a glass of local wine.

Pets
We welcome pets on property – up to 2 pets per lodge. Please let us know in advance if you are planning on bringing a pet. A $25 pet cleaning fee will apply to stays 3 nights or less, and a $50 fee will apply to stays 4 or more nights. Due to potential guests with pet allergies, we have designated certain lodges to be pet-friendly and must keep the other lodges pet free. Please be sure to tell us you have a pet when making your reservation. If you do not report having a pet before checking in, a $100 fee will be charged. Please note that pets are not allowed in Public House. 

Dining
The Lodges on Vashon does not offer an on-property restaurant, however, the property has a gas BBQ, microwave and two induction hot plates that guest may use to prepare their own meals. Additionally, there are many dining options within a five-minute walk. See the Location page for a partial list of available food and beverage options. If you would like your in-room mini-fridge stocked prior to arrival, please let us know.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel or alter an existing reservation, please contact us directly at stay@lodgesonvashon.com. Reservations that are not canceled within 48 hours are subject to a charge of the full stay and any applicable fee and taxes. Cancellations on full property reservations (all 16 lodges) must be made 60 days prior to original arrival date unless otherwise specified in booking agreement.

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed on property. Guests who smoke on property will be fined $100. Guests will be fined $250 if staff finds that guest smoked inside a lodge.

Your Stay

Check-in process
Prior to arrival, guests will receive an email with the key code for their unit. The code to enter the Public House will also be included. Guests simply show up at 3pm or later and can enter their units.

Check-out process
Simply vacate the unit by 11am on the day of check out. Guests will receive via email a copy of their folio including room charges and any mini bar or add-on amenity charges within 48 hours of departure.

Quiet Hours
We ask that you please respect other guests and our neighbors by observing quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. In the event that a guest does not observe quiet house and causes a disturbance that requires hotel management or the police to come to the property, the guest will incur a $100 fine.

Front Desk
The Lodges on Vashon operates without any full-time staff on property. The remote Front Desk will take care of all your reservation details. You can email stay@lodgesonvashon.com with any questions about your upcoming stay.

Fitness Center
In your welcome email, you will find your code to the 24-hour Village Fitness Center, which is located directly across the parking lot from The Lodges in the Vashon Village.

Massage
Enjoy a therapeutic massage in the privacy of your room or a chair massage for everyone in your group. Bookings can be made through the Lodges, or call Monica Gripman, LMP, directly at 206-234-8102.

Housekeeping & Guest Services
Your lodge will be spotlessly clean upon arrival. Should you need anything during your stay—fresh towels or sheets or a room refresh—just ask! Otherwise, we will not disturb you. Amenity refresh is not available after 5pm. For housekeeping special request or general guest information, please contact guest services at 206-641-4717. Please note that fees may apply to additional amenities.
